Chronic pain: Some infections and some medicines can turn on the nerves that carry pain impulses and, once sensitized, they don't turn off easily. Your vagina itself is probably fine and there are meds for this type of problem. You need to see an OB/GYN and preferably one with an interest in pelvic pain.
