Here are some ...: No result for a test done on two occasions comes the same, but always with some variation as so-called normal range because not all expected variables in the patient, machine, and lab tech for testing remains identical. But, comparing the reports and reviewing clinical features over time will provide reasonable information for clinical use,

Likely will be same: Given your young age, a repeat semen analysis after only two years, should still be normal, unless: 1. You developed a medical condition or took a medication within the past 2yrs that could have impaired normal sperm production. 2. The original semen analysis you had was not from a reputable lab. Perhaps ur dr cannot find cause for infertility in your female partner, so he/she wants to recheck u.

Can Vary: Sperm can vary over time for lots of reasons. It is good to know if anything has changed. Also it is relatively simple to do without any harm.
