Not in teens: Cervical cancer is not a disease of teenagers.Std is way more common that anything-if the teenager is sexually active.Obviously becoming sexually active at a young age-would be a risk factor for cervical ca-especially if the partner is+ for hpv.The risk will be higher if promiscuous and using alcohol and smoking.It takes time for abnormal cell to develop into cancer. Discuss further with your gyne.
