Wrong approach: Don't wait for symptoms. See your gynecology provider for an exam to include the replacement for the old Pap smear which is now called liquid based cytology AKA "Pap and HPV cotesting". Checking for the virus (HPV) is really important for risk analysis. Along the same lines, don't wait for symptoms of breast cancer either. Get a mammogram and clinical exam along with your own regular self exam.
