Re-evaluate/ refer: If you have persistent warmth, redness, pain, leg swelling despite abx and elevation of the affected limbs, abx may not be the sole therapy you need .The initial diagnosis needs reassessment- tell your doc of your symptoms so they can either re-evaluate the diagnosis or else, refer you to a specialist since other problems may exist (eg. arterial/venous insufficiency, chronic bone infection).
