How long does it take for your body to fully recover after having sepsis, and is there any long term complications to worry about?

It's highly variable: It depends on how severe the course was and what organs were affected. If you had multiple organ insults like kidney failure, heart failure, it can take a long time to recover. The recovery may not be complete. Some are left with residual heart or kidney damage. Others recover completely with no long term effects. Too variable to say.
