Blow to head?: Sounds like you suffered a blow to the head? Was there a fractured skull? The area of impact on the skull may be suffering from a form of what is known as complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). This means that the area involved is now overly sensitized so that the slightest stimulus (even in terms of light touch or pressure) are painful or extremely painful. This may resolve with more time.
