Smoking cessation: Yes and yes. Lung function will improve after you stop smoking. The product is horrible and ridiculous and that's why millions quit every year. Insight and motivation into the addiction are the best resources that you have to stop smoking.

Smoking: Causes decreased lung function . Stopping smoking may return function back toward normal but usually not to full normal. The sooner and less damage the better the improvement
