Herpes testing: There are two ways to test for herpes. The first is to directly swab the lesion during an outbreak to detect the virus. This is the most definitive but only can be done during an outbreak. The second is test a HSV IgG2 antibody. This confirms a past exposure > 6 weeks ago as it detects your bodies immune response to the virus.

Time to move on: You appear to be repeatedly asking the same questions out of anxiety, hoping for different replies than you have been getting. You need to learn to live with your positive HSV1 blood test, which most likely is causing no important health problem except the emotional one that seems apparent in your questions. Consider professional counseling. I suggest it from compassion, not criticism.
