What otc medication is best for pain relief from moderate bruising ? i know aspirin wouldn't be the best idea .

Your meds plus ice: Tylenol (acetaminophen) generally works fine. If that doesn't, do it ibuprofen is the next step. If the bruising is within the last day, an ice pack applied to the area for 20 minute/hr will help.

Tylenol (acetaminophen): Try acetaminophen, if that doesnt help you can take small amounts of ibuprofen.

Tylenol (acetaminophen): Try tylenol or acetaminophen. it would not affect platelet function.
