I am 34 and had asd cath closure last month, now on plavix (clopidogrel) and aspirin. bad idea to get a tattoo while on these meds?

Yes: Tattoos can become infected and can also transmit hepatitis c occasionally. Also Aspirin and Plavix (clopidogrel) are potent blood thinners and would increase the risk of bleeding and bruising during the procedure. It would be prudent to avoid it. Also, many people change their minds about tattoos years later and require expensive laser treatments to remove them.
