Veggies and protein: Eating good quality protein (lean meats/fish/eggs) and lots of veggies give your body the building blocks to make muscle. Strength training exercises as well as cardio work outs can help build muscle. Working with an athletic trainer could be beneficial so you learn good technique and prevent injuries which can slow progress. Drink lots of water to stay hydrated and prevent muscle cramps.
