Hospital Delivery: For a women who has had a child with cerebral palsy, the most important is to prevent another baby with cerebral palsy. Hope that you have received prenatal care and are going to deliver in a hospital with neonatal intensive care unit. Definitely, inform and remind your care givers and nurses about your situation. You should be monitored during labor to detect fetal heart rate changes. Be calm!

About 4% will have some unexpected outcome. The best you can do as a mom is get good prenatal care, maintain good nutrition & avoid things you know to be harmful to baby.
