Testicular torsion: Swelling may be a later finding but testicular torsion will always be painful and may have some nausea and vomiting associated with it. If you have swelling and sudden pain in your scrotum, then you should be suspicious of torsion in someone your age and you should see your doctor ASAP.

Yes: There is sudden severe testicular pain in the testicle.Also there is often vomiting.If you are having bad pain in your testicle go to the ER because if torsion diagnosis is delayed it can result in testicular gangrene and the testicle would have to be removed.Good luck

Yes: Picture someone grabbing and twisting your testicles until they have no blood supply. Always painful, always. eventually swelling, but first pain.
