Hiv infection causes beau lines in finger nails??

Beau lines: Temporary cessation of cell division in nail matrix may be caused by infection or problem in the nail fold, where nail begins to form, or by an injury. Other reasons include trauma, coronary occlusion, hypocalcaemia, and skin disease. They may be a sign of systemic disease, and this might include HIV disease, but these are so non-specific that there is no way to really tell the cause.
