Zero risk: Truth be told, I'd urge you to talk with your personal physician about these fears. During the "bad old days" when HIV infection was untreatable, non-sexual household contacts -- including parents who bandaged kids' cuts, as well as kissing, hugging, and offering care -- NEVER caught the disease. These are thoughts that you should not be having, and you deserve whatever it takes to quiet them.
