A member asked:

Can eyeglasses wearing cause bulging eyes?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Eyeglasses are supported on the ears and nose and cannot cause the eyes to bulge forward. Bulgivng eyes can be inherited, due to more extreme myopia, or from some diseases such as hyperthyroid (graves disease) or a lesion behind the eye which is growing. See your ophthalmologist if you have bulging eyes; it is not your glasses.
