Is this new?: If you have not hurt your foot at all, but have the sudden onset of calf pain, especially with swelling, it is important to get seen now at the ER now! If you smoke or are on the pill or have a history of blood clots, etc., it could mean a blood clot. Without more details about how long this is going on, and your medical history it is hard to say
