I have been diagnosed with calcium deposit in lung. any concern about this?

Usually OK: This is often caused by an old infection. It can also be related to many lung diseases. The size, location, and the rest of your medical history are used to help determine if it is anything to worry about.

No bones about it: Depends on the shape(s),location(s)and how many.Generally, calcium deposits in areas other than bone mean some kind of chronic inflammation or infection or irritation (even in bone sometimes). This can be an historical record of something that has healed,or a marker of something still going on.Your doctor knows you and should be able to tell you whether or not to be concerned or if more tests needed
