No bones about it: Depends on the shape(s),location(s)and how many.Generally,calcium deposits in areas other than bone mean some kind of chronic inflammation or infection or irritation (even in bone sometimes).This can be an historical record of something that has healed,or a marker of something still going on.Your doctor knows you and should be able to tell you whether or not to be concerned or if more tests needed
