Suprascapular nerve: Suprascapular nerve impingement is an example of a pinched nerve in the shoulder, and is most frequently seen in overhead athletes, causing aching pain and weakness. However, this condition is rare, and pain around the shoulder would be statistically more likely to be caused by rotator cuff pathology, joint/labrum problems, or even cervical radiculopathy.
