1=bone spur. ..: ...due 2 inflammation or traction @ a ligament or tendon attachment. 2=not a disk per say but inflamed disks in disk disease can cause ostephytes. The NSAIDS R not pain pills but interfere with the inflam process. Some have longer half lives. Celebrex=one dose/24 hrs. Naproxin=2x/day. Ibuprofen=6hrs, dose 4x/day, or over 24 hours
