Also, there is always the possibility of an adjacent mass, even testicular cancer, so I would recommend that you make arrangements to see a urologist as soon as possible. The most likely diagnosis is a varicocele, which is a benign collection of abornal veins adjacent to the testicle and is usually only on one side.
