Back and stomach?: My concern about someone who has back surgery and now has stomach pain, if it is in the midepigastric abdomen, is are you taking a lot of NSAIDs (ibuprofen, aleve, motrin, advil, etc). If so, I am concerned you may have an irritated stomach or possibly even an ulcer. I would make an appointment to be further evaluated by your primary care physician and use tylenol (acetaminophen) in the mean time.
