Gland in neck under jaw

Adenopathy: Most likely submandibular adenopathy, or enlarged lymph node. Causes vary from reactive in response to a local infection/inflammation to blood disorders.

Questions: Is it tender? Is it red? is it warm to touch, do you have a fever? It can represent a lot of different conditions- Have you had weight loss- These are all questions your Dr will want to know- so please visit your doctor and good health to you.

Glands: There are number of causes why glands can swell up though commonest reason is infection and they usually settle down over a period of 2-3 weeks .If you don't know why you have glands and they are persisting please consult with your doctor.
