Need for examination: Bleeding after sex is usually due to a cervical lesion. It would require examination of the vaginal canal and cervix to determine the cause of bleeding and that can only be done by an in-person examination. It would be prudent to consult your doctor. It is not likely that any thing is seriously wrong.
