Yes.: There are several treatments available for eib (exercise induced bronchospasm). Your doctor can prescribe them for you after they check to make sure that it is not an underlying problem with asthma that needs treating. The treatments are not exactly the same.

Yes...: Use your bronchodilator inhaler (like albuterol) 20-30 minutes prior to exercise and have it available to use if needed once you stop exercising. If this does not alleviate your symptoms, see your doctor for alternate therapy. Using a steroid inhaler prior to exercise will not be beneficial. Good luck!
