Exercise: Aerobic exercise such as running, walking, biking or swimming when done for at least 20 minutes in a row for at least three times per week can lessen your risk of heart disease. These are the classic types of exercises, but almost any exercise when done for a period of time repeatedly can lower your risk of heart disease.
