See below: It sounds like your deconditioned. That's a fairly average speed for light running or fast walking and no incline. However, as long as you're able to do it without severe shortness of breath, chest pain, or dizziness, then it's fine. After some time of training like this, your heart rate won't jump that high. If you have any symptoms or other conditions, check with your doctor first though.
