Hop to it !!: That doesn't sound too good to me.It sounds like you may have a nerve or two pinched in your lower back. Many people get this and for many it eventually gets better--sometimes completely, but when it gets to the point that there is both pain AND weakness, that's a 'red flag' to get yourself to a doctor. At the very least,you'll need a test or two and learn how to manage your problem. So hop to it!

Disk: If this problem has just occurred recently and you dont have a history of back problems, a disk is likely the source of your pain. You should be evaluated by a physician to make sure the weakness is not progressive or serious. You should be evaluated today or tomorrow if possible. If you have any changes in bowel or bladder habits or increase in weakness please go to the emergency room.
