I have barrett's esophagus and have recently became nauseous when i eat and burp a lot. does this have anything to do with the barrett's?

Barrett's and nausea: Barrett's esophagus is an abnormal change in the cells lining your esophagus and typically is found in patients with heartburn/reflux. You should be on a proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole or Nexium (esomeprazole) which can help prevent this condition from worsening. You should also not lie down after eating for several hours and prop your head up at night when sleeping. Eating smaller meals may help too
