Hard to know: I agree that her numbers are high but I don't know anything else about other medications she's taking which can be offensive to the liver nor would I say that her numbers are OUTRAGEOUSLY high to be too worried based on what you're telling me. High dose Solumedrol (methylprednisolone) (steroids) causes reversible elevations in liver enzymes. She'll only be on that for a short time. I think she'll be fine.

Liver enzymes: Generally, these blood test results indicate something happening in the liver. There are many causes for this. MS and steroid injections may not be the cause. It is important to consider whether there are other causes, such as a virus, alcohol intake, or side effects from other medicines. There are several treatments that prevent MS attacks, these may be better than steroids.
