A member asked:

For the past two months i have experienced being light head before and after my period. do you have any clue why i may be experiencing this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blood pressure: Often feeling lightheaded can be due to 2 common things, having low blood pressure (often result of dehydration in summer months) and low blood sugar (fasting between meals). As you can imagine, both can be easily addressed by staying hydrated and eating smaller, more frequent snacks. The changes in hormones during period, however, can also cause changes to blood vessels.
