Maybe: Fibromyalgia is tough to treat. The treatment methods for this are numerous. What works for one person may not work for another This med is a muscle relaxant. It may help relieve some spasm and also may make someone sleepy.. It may help you but be careful not to operate machinery initially until you understand how you will feel.

Possibly: Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is related to a class of drugs called tricyclic antidepressants. These are often used to combat the sleep disorder commonly associated with fibromyalgia hence its muscle "relaxing" there is no true mechanism of action demonstrating muscle relaxation but the tricyclic effects might be helpful to fibromyalgia...just not the way you might expect!
