It may help relieve some spasm and also may make someone sleepy.. It may help you but be careful not to operate machinery initially until you understand how you will feel.

Possibly: Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is related to a class of drugs called tricyclic antidepressants. These are often used to combat the sleep disorder commonly associated with fibromyalgia hence its muscle "relaxing" there is no true mechanism of action demonstrating muscle relaxation but the tricyclic effects might be helpful to fibromyalgia...just not the way you might expect!
