No: Treatment of cholecystitis is primarily surgical removal of the gall bladder. Hydration, with i/v fluids and antibiotics may be used pre-operatively. Antibiotics may be needed post surgically as well. Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) has no role in the treatment of cholecystitis. Thanks.
