Okay?: I'm not sure what you mean by "okay" unless by "okay" you mean "not dangerous." Scalp tenderness is a common symptom of migraine headaches. Even though they're not dangerous, migraines can really throw a monkey-wrench into your life. Ordinary OTC pain meds are often ineffective against them. Check out the website of the American Headache Society and/or see your doctor.
