Not common: There are many causes of headache. The first thing that comes to mind since you're pregnant is preeclampsia which is a serious condition. It doesn't usually occur before 20 weeks of pregnancy but it's not worth the risk of ignoring the possibility. In any case, having so many bad headaches so often, isn't "normal". You need to tell your OB about this ASAP.

Not uncommon, but: headaches can be normal from the increased hormones, but if they are persistent and severe, a neurologist should be consulted. bad things like, tumors, aneurysms, strokes etc can happen to pregnant women migraines etc can happen to pregnant women. toxemia is rare before 20 weeks.
