My 5 month old son slept last night from 6:30pm to 7:00am. do you think his teething may have caused his prolonged slumber?

Normal: Kids going through growth spurts may sleep more and 12 hours is still normal for a 5 month old. Enjoy the respite!

Opposite: Usually teething interferes with sleep. Children get irritable and restless. Glad everyone got a full night's sleep. If you're concerned, check in with your son's very knowledgeable Pediatrician, the professional that knows your son best. And don't forget, 1st Dental Exam should correspond with 1st b'day. Strongly suggest you see a Pediatric Dental Specialist.
