I suddenly have a crack/dent on the side of my heel the skin is not broken or dry it's very painful and next to it there's a small bump also painfull

Exam needed: Without examining the area a diagnosis can't be made. If there is spreading redness I would be concerned about cellulitis which would require antibiotic treatment. The lump could be a cyst. If warm wet applications don't improve the discomfort, have a physician evaluate you.
