A member asked:

I woke up with rib pain two nights ago. most of it has gone away. but when i touch upper ribs it's still sore. i slept on my sides twisted up that day?

No injury?: If there was no injury, perhaps this is due to some soreness inbetween the ribs- where there are muscles. Is it worse with deep breaths? For lower ribs, and along the abdomen, there are some muscles that help us twist and turn. These accessory muscles can become sore from sleeping posture. Sometimes odd muscle soreness occurs with virus infections, as in colds. This will probably go away soon
