Hi-recently my hands have started itching and it is very bad at night to the point where I cant sleep. The skin is mostly dry with a few small red patches. I have tried the following but get no relief:cortisone cream, Eucerin, allergex tabs and cream?

Approximately 3 months ago, I noticed tiny bumps on the top of both my hands, but only in a patch. The skin will sometimes return almost to normal, but then will become red, dry looking, and itchy. Also have a somewhat similar patch on my calf now.
I have small skin toned bumps on top of both hands for 2 weeks. Gone now but small dry red patches appeared behind index finger on both hands, some ha?
The skin on my hands feels hot, itchy, tight, and dry and my hands get red and swollen and become difficult to clench and unclench. This happens sometimes after I wash my hands. Could this be an allergy to a type of soap?
