Had ultrasound on 6 weeks , among three embryos, fetal pole, yolk sac is present in all, but heartbeat is seen in one only. Is there any complication.
1st ultrasound, ~6 weeks 4days. Two amniotic sacs but difficulty viewing 2nd. One heartbeat for sure. What are the chances of viable twins still & how good are the chances of at least one viable baby?
Went for 2nd ultrasound at 8 weeks this time was able to detect fetal pole yolk sac and gestational sac but still no heartbeat not sure why ?
Can a fetus with IUGR or any disorder measure at 6 weeks on an ultrasound, but in reality is 23 weeks gestation? How far behind can iugr babies be? Plus if a baby is iugr does it still develop limbs at the accurate week? Thanks
I was just told by my MFM that I will need an ultrasound every 2 weeks to monitor babies and their heart beat. Im 11 weeks with twins. Is this many ultrasounds considered safe? They usually only take 3-5 minutes and do them abdominal now?
