Productive life: Properly managed asthma and or allergies can provide a patient with access to a normal life, full participation in most physical endeavors and professions enjoyed by unaffected persons.Lack of proper use leads to inconsistent control, the need for excessive rescue or anti-inflammatory medications (steroids) that can lead to hospitalizations or significant side effects.
