Yes: Yes, you may take any antibiotics prescribed by MDs Occasionally, some MVP patients (not all) may require antibiotic prophylaxis with dental, GI or GU procedures, but there is NO contraindications to take antibiotics for other infections.

Yes: Unless you are allergic to Zithromax there is no problem with this antibiotic and Mitral Valve Prolapse.
