Maybe: Depending of your age, symptoms and other medical conditions you have, you might want to check it out. Although this may be embarrassing, it would be worth it to establish a relationship with a primary care doctor to talk about it. It may be an example of food intolerance/allergy...Or in some cases more serious problems. Even if it isn't anything serious, they may be able to help you manage it.

Carefully: You can use your index finger to gently pull the lateral edge of your eyelid out and then gently blink while holding your other hand under your eye to catch the lens as it falls out.

A 40-year-old member asked:
How long does it take to get used to new gas permeable contacts?

Dr. Alfred H. Rivera answered

It varies..: Varied answers from various eye care specialists. Generally I have a new rigid gas permeable (rgp) contact lens wearer, who is just commencing their use, to wear it for 4 hours the first day and then go up by one hour daily from that point on to a maximum of 12 hours. You want to avoid contact lens overwear syndrome where the eyes feel so comfortable with the rgps on that you do not break them in.
