I have a pimple like bump in my bikini area. ob said pimple but culture in case. can herpes look like a bump then pimple then bump then little in24hrs?

Herpes unlikely: Herpes is more likely to cause a cluster of fluid-contained papules with surrounding redness and usually takes a week or longer to heal. A solitary red papule is more likely related to an ingrown hair or infected hair follicle, especially if it is smaller after 1 to 2 days.

Skin lump: This really seems like a folliculitis. Herpes is not likely. Agree with exam and culture.
