Treatment: Pain is your body's way of telling you there's something wrong. Pain can come and go, but ignoring problem may lead to serious consequences. Pills may offer temporary relief, but will NOT cure the problem. See you Dentist or a Oral Surgeon if you want resolution. Don't see Dentist and expect it to get worse.

Wisdom teeth: Wisdom tooth pains can sometimes come out of nowhere, suddenly erupting overnight without warning and can come and go. See your dentist if you're experiencing pain or discomfort from your wisdom teeth for examination and treatment. Do not self medicate under any circumstances.

Wisdom teeth: If they are erupting, you're feeling teething pain since the area is inflamed.... worse when you lie down since the blood pressure increases in your head. OTC pain meds may help, but for many, the answer is extraction: most people don't have enough room for the wisdom teeth, and you certainly don't need them. See your dentist for a consultation.

Yes. Oral surgeon: Yes, it can come and go, but the underlying problem still exists. See the wisdom tooth expert. For best results with wisdom teeth, make sure you are evaluated and treated by a board certified oral & maxillofacial surgeon.
