Depends: Ordinary glasses may be strengthened by using titanium and flexon - an extremely flexible memory metal but for truly active sports polycarbonatesports safety glasses would be a better bet. They can be made in most prescriptions.

Sports goggles: Specially made protective glasses, which are made of polycarbonate, and have a curve to them allow a wide field of view. In addition, a sports strap to hold them in place is useful. Standard glasses may be difficult to keep in place.
