How do athletes wear contacts, glasses or any kind of corrective lens when playing?

Yes: Both contact lenses and sports goggles are used by athletes and are well tolerated. Considering on your sport, lasik can be a realistic alternative. Check with your ophthalmologist.

Common: Athletes rarely use glasses but some like them and use a protective eye shield. Contacts are common and function well. When they do this they always have a spare or two on the sidelines to replace any that might have been knocked out. These days it is common for them to have lasik surgery which avoids the whole issue.
