Will my prescribed glasses correct my nearsightedness? i play lots of video games and that's how i became nearsighted

Myopia: Glasses do not cure your nearsightedness. They correct your vision when you wear them. Probably the nearsighted ness came faster because of the video game playing but did not cause it.

Sort of: Your prescribed glasses will correct your vision while you wear them, but they will not make your nearsightedness go away. Playing video games on a hand held device or near computer screen might make nearsightedness a little worse, but it probably didn't cause it. Playing on a screen 3 feet away or farther won't affect your vision. At 17, you can have fun with many other things also.
