Abnormal symptoms?: I see from your history that you have IBS, if the symptoms you are having are unusual for you or you are having increased pain, you should go to the ER. Presence of a fever is another reason to go especially with your history of diverticulitis.

Primary Care: You already have a diagnosis and a physician. Your problem should be managed by either your family doctor or your GI specialist. If you have doubt you can page them on call for instructions.
